Ben - "offering or needing all the time" Actually I think that is the natural state for most of us who continue to reach, stretch and grow as we try to maintain some balance.

But, I wasn't referring to an individual's yin/yang of offers and needs. :) What I meant is that often I go to networking events and find that as a group the offers and needs don't match up or balance out. I think that's where referrals come in - and broadening one's network.

Francie - I suppose it could be a ying/yang thing - you can't be offering or needing all the time.

Easton - thanks! I've always found I tend to ramble, writing uber-short posts stops me from doing that. But I think this post might need a follow-up... *grin*

So, are you saying it's a yin/yang kind of thing?
Maybe that's my problem - hard to find the balance sometimes. No offers and all needs or vice versa.
