Ibackup aka pro-softnet has double billed our credit card and when we spoke to Steve he said that he would resolve the problem and issue a credit. HE CANCELED OUR ACCOUNT AND NOW WILL NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS. WHEN WE CALL EVERYONE REFUSES TO OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. I THINK THEY ARE A HUGE SCAM OPERATION AND I WILL REPORT THEM TO ALL THE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES MERCHANT FRAUD DIVISION. How safe do you think your data really is with a company like this?

I signed up for a free 2 GB of off-site data backup. It said that if I refer a few people that I would get additional 10 GB of free data storage. They asked for my Yahoo Email username and password. Within an hour, everyone in my contacts folder including myself was bombarded with anywhere from 7-20 emails from noreply@idrive.com and they used my name in those emails. So now, I have irate customers, friends, etc. calling me or emailing me telling me to stop sending them VIRUSES. The whole thing looks like all my contacts got hit with a malicious virus. I called the company to complain. I talked to a person named Steve in Tech Support and he said this should not have happened. He couldn't explain why it happened. What kind of way is this to conduct business? Now there are hundreds of people (my contacts) who think they are getting bombarded with a virus or malicious attack. I told the company to have their CEO named Raghu Kulkarni to call me immediately and that I would be filing a complaint with the FBI and Attorney General's office. Thank you.

I like http://www.myotherdrive.com. This site gives me 5GB free and supports bulk uploads (recursively) and great sharing. I can give out hyperlinks (URLs) to my content (if the content is shared). Check it out.
