I’m late in announcing this because I’ve been swamped, but Heri at Montreal Tech Watch has the event listed on his blog. The show must go on!

Anyone involved in technology startups - as entrepreneurs, VCs, angel investors, technologists, future entrepreneurs, etc. - is welcome.

We run the breakfast on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.

Note: On the same day, Heri and the BlitzWeekend crew are having a get-together at Blizzard Bar on St. Laurent (5-8pm) for drinks and to kick off BlitzWeekend festivities. Even if you’re not participating in BlitzWeekend as developers, come hang out.

Keeping with the schedule I started last year, the first Montreal Tech Entrepreneur Breakfast will be next Tuesday, January 8th at 9am. We’ll hold it at Bistro, Etc., located at 1291 Avenue du Mont-Royal, E.

I know some people have requested that we hold the breakfast at 8am. I’m not opposed to that, and maybe it makes sense to set the start time at 8am, and people just come whenever they like. I know I’d still make it around 9am or just a bit past that. But there’s no reason my arbitrary time should stop others from meeting beforehand!

It’s great to see how alive the Montreal tech scene is quickly becoming. I’m not sure you can call us “Silicon Valley North” just yet, but it’s still exciting to see companies getting funded and companies launching.

Two cool companies launched recently that I want to bring people’s attention to, because I think you could find the services valuable (as entrepreneurs, business people & bloggers.)

It’s an all day event, starting at 9am and it’s absolutely free.

BarCamp is always a great event, and a centerpiece for what’s taking place in Montreal technology-wise.
