Please use your real name or a handle that's not driven by trying to gain SEO / Google Juice from my blog. If you put in a "name" designed for SEO purposes, I will edit it. I support the DoFollow movement, but this is also a community, and comments are meant to inspire discussion, not gain link love. Thank you!

I love the photos you used for this post. Very nice!
Thanks Paul. It took me awhile to find them, but I realized I hadn’t done much with photos in awhile.
And I’m experimenting with short, hopefully poignant posts. They don’t seem to generate the comments I’d like - but many people don’t want to write, “Totally agree! You’re a genius!” *grin*
Tomorrow I’m posting on HOW TO blog one relationship at a time - so hopefully that gives people the info they want!
Ben, I totally agree! You’re a genius!
Really, I like the concept of short, effective visual posts, especially when you follow it with a supporting “how-to”. You may be on to a great method here.
Genius? Aw, shucks. Thanks Becky…
I really like the format - I’d hoped that a short post like this would encourage more commenting, and possibly more blog posts written by others to expand on the idea.
Short posts = big ideas (hopefully) and I wanted to keep playing with images as well.
Well, don’t know you well enough (yet) to give gou genius status
but I keep returning to see what you have to say.
Fairly new to blogging, and I can see how it would be easy to run (translate that to link, comment or visit) in all directions. But, just like in the real world, I agree it’s better to build a network one relationship at a time.
I was excited last week to “run in to” a couple of my new electronic buddies on another popular Blog. It was fun being recognized and called a “Virtual Buddy”. That wouldn’t have happened if I was out there running far and wide in the blogosphere.
A picture tells a thousand words ..
Francie - it’s amazing how quickly you’ll get “recognized” out here…it’s a lot of fun.
Thanks Jamsi. You’re right. A picture does tell a thousand words, and I’m going to make sure I incorporate more pictures into the blog in the future. And experiment with the short posting style - it’s not much faster to write - finding the picture, refining the message - but it’s fun.
