Heri – I thought about that as well. It would definitely add a level of interest to the site, but also becomes much more complicated to manage.

They should let users get a share of the revenues. that would create quality content and more videos.

I'm now using the 'similar post' plugin, which works straight out of the box without database changes.

Hopefully it'll create some interest in past articles.

Bret – Tubetorial was pretty cool. More tech focused, more screencasts than true video of people doing things…

I don't think how-to videos are earth shattering either, but it's a nice, focused niche and I think it'll help 5min.com be successful.

Do a quick Google search on it and it'll show up. Probably the same one you're referring to cause it does require a database change, which often doesn't work automatically but can be done manually if you have access to do so.
